  1. GM is a joke. Your going to lose all of your car sales here. People are fuming. Big big mistake. Everyone in Canada is laughing at your company.

  2. At the time of the announced restructuring, GM had about 2,000 salaried employees in Canada as part of about 50,000 salaried workers in North America.
GM is Dead to me !!!

  3. you know what would have been interesting is what would have happened to GM if it was allowed to fail in the first place, yes they paid back loans etc… but if it wasn't for the bailouts in the first place GM would not even be around now, or at least they would be a minor player.
I saw the add and I don't believe for a second that it clouded my opinion of GM. after I first heard about the closings I sold my Malibu and bought a ford, my daughter instead of buying a GM car has now gone and bought a Toyota… You know what folks this will be the only way to make our voices heard and the only way GM would feel it, in the pocket book.
