Yoga (/ˈjoʊɡə/; Sanskrit: योग; About this sound pronunciation) is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in ancient India. Yoga in Indian traditions, however, is more than physical exercise; it has a meditative and spiritual core. One of the six major orthodox schools of Hinduism is also called Yoga, which has its own epistemology and metaphysics, and is closely related to Hindu Samkhya philosophy.

Many studies have tried to determine the effectiveness of yoga as a complementary intervention for cancer, schizophrenia, asthma, and heart disease. The results of these studies have been mixed and inconclusive. On December 1, 2016, yoga was listed by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage.

  4. I found this in my late 2nd trimester. I hate I didn't find it earlier. I really loved it and I used to do it every morning. Had an amazing labor and a big healthy baby boy. Will do it again if I ever get pregnant. I'm currently taking pregnancy yoga courses to help other moms. It's amazing

  5. I started doing dis from third trimester onwards ..actually until the day i went to hospital for delivery..mine was a full term normal vaginal delivery..dis routine helped a lot for d same. I strongly recommend ds routine….

  6. This is an amazing series of prenatal yoga poses. I’ve tried other videos but nothing compares to these poses. It helps me sleep, and helps me connect with my growing baby. Highly recommend. I’ll try to do this more frequently.

  7. Before pregnancy, I was doing other yoga but I wanted to shift to doing prenatal yoga. I started to do this yoga when I was 2 months pregnant after consulting with my doc. I truly loved it, it helped me overcome my back pain, made me very flexible, fit and active. I never looked like I was pregnant as I was always active and I didn't put much weight other than tummy. I could stay at home till 7cm dilation and later only left to hospital. I am really thankful to this video creators and I shared this to many of my friends who found it helpful too:)

  9. i was sitting at home 3 months preggy and watching lara dutta prenatal yoga for normal birth. (one fine day got to know lara herself had a c section.. :O bt it was a emergency c sec i believe .)Ok so my story goes like wen i thot of doin al those exercise bt i kept procrastinating and one fine day my water broke at 35 weeks + 3 days and my ob was nt in town. bt i was reffered to a famous hospital sayin my bp was high and i need an immediate c sec. then i was induced that night sayin everything is normal and we can wait fr the cervix to dilate in d morning. i was praying fr a c sec as i wudnt tolerate the pain and din wana be conscious as it was d first .bt my cervix ws dialted so well and then i delivered a healthy baby girl in d noon being obese with high blood sugars and high bp. it was sure a miracle to hav had a smooth vaginal birth .So all im saying is you dont hav anything in ur hands. things just happen. just sit back .. relax. do walk a little. Tats d only thing i did sometime. god bless yal.

  10. I did this in my first pregnancy and loved it.

    However, my labor was very long (3 days) and challenging. Recovery was wonderful though.

    I am almost done with my second pregnancy and have been staying active and doing this routine 3 times per week. Feeling good and hoping for a short and sweet natural delivery.
